WEBVTT

00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:02.560
The zinc rooftops of Paris stretched out like

00:00:02.560 --> 00:00:05.179
a sea of polished pewter, catching the last

00:00:05.179 --> 00:00:06.500
amber embers of the sun.

00:00:07.179 --> 00:00:09.419
Up here, high above the frantic murmur of

00:00:09.419 --> 00:00:11.859
the boulevards, the air smelled of roasted

00:00:11.859 --> 00:00:15.539
espresso beans, old stone, and the distant, sweet

00:00:15.539 --> 00:00:16.879
promise of evening rain.

00:00:17.800 --> 00:00:19.859
Julian set a small wooden tray down on

00:00:19.859 --> 00:00:21.839
the weathered table of the secluded terrace.

00:00:22.440 --> 00:00:25.120
Two glasses clinked softly against each other as

00:00:25.120 --> 00:00:27.219
a bottle of chilled sans -serapord pale

00:00:28.059 --> 00:00:29.339
by the fading light.

00:00:29.920 --> 00:00:32.960
Across the table, Clara watched him, a soft

00:00:32.960 --> 00:00:35.039
smile playing on her lips as she adjusted

00:00:35.039 --> 00:00:36.799
her scarf against the cooling breeze.

00:00:37.539 --> 00:00:40.659
In the distance, piercing the sprawling, detailed tapestry

00:00:40.659 --> 00:00:42.939
of the city skyline, the Eiffel Tower

00:00:42.939 --> 00:00:45.340
stood like an elegant spire of wrought iron.

00:00:46.039 --> 00:00:48.719
As if on cue, the sun dipped entirely

00:00:48.719 --> 00:00:51.740
below the horizon, and the grand monument flickered

00:00:51.740 --> 00:00:54.240
to life, bathing the dusk in a sudden,

00:00:54.579 --> 00:00:56.840
breathtaking shower of golden sparkles.

00:00:57.579 --> 00:01:00.240
Clara raised her glass, her eyes reflecting the

00:01:00.240 --> 00:01:02.159
twinkling lights of the city coming alive

00:01:02.159 --> 00:01:02.740
around them.

00:01:03.240 --> 00:01:05.579
To getting lost, she murmured.

00:01:05.980 --> 00:01:08.819
Julian clinked his glass against hers, the clear

00:01:08.819 --> 00:01:11.140
ring carrying out over the vast Parisian

00:01:11.140 --> 00:01:13.819
horizon, and finding the best view in the

00:01:13.819 --> 00:01:14.060
world.
