The world inside the grove woke slowly, painting itself in shades of jade and pearl. Tall stalks of emerald stretched upward, disappearing into a canopy that filtered the early light into thin, golden threads. A faint mist curled lazily between the ancient trunks, rolling in soft waves across the damp earth as if reluctant to surrender the night.

Kaito walked barefoot along the narrow, moss-covered path, his footsteps entirely swallowed by the quiet of the morning. With every gentle breath of the dawn breeze, the forest came alive with a low, resonant sigh—a rhythmic creaking of timber and the rustle of dewy leaves high above. He ran his hand along the nearest stalk, feeling the intricate, ridged texture of the bamboo beneath his fingertips, cool and solid against his skin.

He stopped in a small clearing where the mist parted just enough to reveal the rising sun catching the highest shoots in a fiery glow. Here, deep in the heart of Asia's most timeless sanctuaries, the clamor of the waking world felt a thousand miles away. Closing his eyes, Kaito breathed in the crisp scent of damp soil and green wood, letting the profound, mysterious calm of the dawn settle deep into his bones.
